MINI Cooper S R53 engine W11 production date 09/2004 - acquired in July 2009 - 67k - at 90k.
I was worried about the supercharger. Noise under the hood that wouldn't go away... It was later that I learned about 'no service' for the supercharger. See this Bentley Publishers article on oil service. Cleaned the supercharger and removed the water pump. No noise coming from the supercharger. The belt appears to be original and the idler pulley and belt tensioner are making noise.
Notes: in researching maintenance and necessary repairs, its a general rule to not purchase parts from the manufacture - mainly a cost consideration.
Superchargers have all sorts of applications across all sorts of engines. MINI does not have a part number for supercharger oil - GM does. example

Newly built work table - self supporting - length 4' x 1' 4" - height 2' 2 1/2" - the supercharger sitting on the work area is 1' 7". The 'shop' is getting cleaned up and organized.
